GMC vehicles

GMC is a part of GM and it is responsible for producing commercial vehicles including trucks, vans, busses, SUVs and military vehicles. GMC was founded in 1912 when GM purchased Rapid Motor Vehicle Company thus creating General Motors Truck Company, which later became GMC Truck. As the producer of commercial vehicles, GMC is one of the vital parts of American economy. Also, it helped the US efforts during the Second World War when the company produced more than 600.000 vehicles only for military use. Nowadays, GMC produce military trucks, heavy duty trucks, fire trucks, ambulances and other specialized equipment.
