Maserati vehicles
As a producer of high-end luxury and sports vehicles, Maserati was founded in 1914 in Bologna in Italy. Maserati was one of a few Italian sports car manufacturers who competed in almost every sport car event they could manufacture a car for. Becoming one of the best in the business, Maserati was acquired by Fiat in 1993 and it continued to produce luxurious vehicles powered by large V6, V8 and V12 engines. Since 2013 Maserati has been a part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles holding company and it is able to produce more than 50.000 luxury vehicles a year. Maserati produces sedans, sport vehicles and SUVs (as of 2016).
