La lampada 912 si adatterà al sistema di illuminazione della mia auto? In realtà, questa è una grande domanda da porre poiché 912 ha una base specifica che corrisponde solo ai veicoli con lo stesso montaggio. Secondo la normativa ECE n. 37, le lampadine per auto sono classificate in tre grandi gruppi:
Gruppo 1 - non implica alcuna restrizione e le lampade di questo gruppo possono essere installate su qualsiasi parte del veicolo.
Gruppo 2 - queste lampadine sono consentite solo per l'utilizzo in segnalazione, angolazione, lampade di retromarcia e lampade posteriori della targa.
Gruppo 3 - le lampade sono buone solo per la sostituzione.
