Founded in 1899, Buick is the oldest US car maker and one of the most popular car brands in America. Named after David Dunbar Buick, the Buick Motor Company is specialized on production of the entry level luxury vehicles. Being a part of GM (General Motors), Buick nowadays shares some of its technology with its European counterpart Opel. Nevertheless, the brand is available in US, Canada, Mexico and China, and it produces sedans, SUVs and compact cars. The company made a breakthrough in the industry with the first concept car. Buick introduced the Y-Job back in 1938 and that vehicle is regarded as a first concept vehicle of them all.
