The Ford F-250 comes with either of the two engines – the diesel engine or the gas engine. It boasts of an accommodating ride and calm cabin for a heavy duty truck. The body is made of aluminum and the brakes provide a powerful stop against its powerful performance. Ford decided to include a couple of high-tech features for the new model, making it a sophisticated and spoilt hauler.
The new Super Duty is claimed to be so powerful that it can tow a small planet. The 6.7-liter turbodiesel V8 engine makes up to 925 lb-ft of torque and 440 hp. Combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission, these metrics allow the pickup to tow up to 32,000 pounds.
To handle the Super Duty’s incredible capabilities requires handlers to own a commercial driver’s license. Not all of the 925 lb-ft is availed at once. The transmission wouldn’t be able to handle all that might.
The Ford Super Duty is fit for all kinds of job sites. This is thanks to its dual- or single-rear-wheel setting on the F-350 and higher trims. This monster of a pickup features a ladder framed and fully boxed underneath that’s tightened 24 times more than trucks from the previous generation.
Smothering on the road has been made easier with the new front radius arms. The rear suspension has been revised to keep noises at the back to a complete minimum. The Super Duty’s steering wheel allows the driver to manipulate the steering track’s speed to make maneuverability easy at low speeds. Configurations also help to reduce jittering when going fast. Workers who commonly handle tight spaces could use the feature to help fight fatigue.
The new Super Duty shares quite a lot with the F-150. The cab and styling cues can be traced all the way there. The new double-cabin configuration reveals a more cohesive and pronounced look. The second row is more attractive than in the previous model.
Higher trims are more luxurious. Most are, however, built for work. Ford balances style, flair, and comfort without compromising on utility.
The F-250 is the most affordable Super Duty in Ford’s trio. The other two include the F-350 and F-450. The F-250 uses either a stump-pulling turbodiesel or a responsive gasoline engine to power its 6-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can also choose to go with a 4-wheel-drive powertrain.
The F-250’s sturdy structure has been reinforced with top-notch technology. Parking is assisted by a surround-view camera system that is precise to the inch. There’s also a remote camera that allows you to see behind a hauled trailer. Other features include an in-built trailer memory, tire-pressure information sensors, and a brake gain configuration.
