Aiming to achieve the same level of class like the luxury brands from Germany, Infiniti started to produce vehicles based upon the Nissan cars but equipped with much more luxury equipment and garnished with chrome, leather and other luxury features. Infiniti produces coupes, sedans, cabriolets and SUVs and it shares its basic car components with the other vehicles from Renault-Nissan alliance. Furthermore, Infiniti is equipped with best and most powerful engines Nissan develops, while it uses diesel engines from its European partner - Mercedes.
