X-Pattern

This is known to be quite a common option for the vehicles that drive on the front wheels. It is similar to the forward cross, but the front tires will also cross the sides here. Therefore, the front and the rear tires are diagonally exchanged.

Rearward Cross

This is considered to be the best rotation pattern for the AWD vehicles as the braking and the steering get controlled by both of the rear axles. The rearward cross is the complete opposite of the forward cross pattern. In this pattern, the front wheels come to the back and cross sides, whereas the rear wheels tend to come forward and stay on their respective sides.
