In the same line of cars is the 100D with its one hundred kilowatt battery. The battery allows it to cover a total distance of two hundred and ninety-five miles. Although this is considered to be a more advanced model, it shares the same performance specs as the 90D. A slight variation exists in the form of the P100D which has a battery pack that is similar to that of the 100D, but its speed has been upgraded making it possible for it to hit sixty miles an hour in less than three seconds.

Although it has a higher top speed than the 100D, its range does suffer, though very slightly as it is only able to cover two hundred and eighty-nine miles on a single charge.

Exterior and Interior

The Model X’s interior and exterior is mainly based on that of the S’s architecture but with some slight modifications. The crossover is capable of comfortably seating up-to seven adults, in a forward-facing formation. The interior height has also been slightly modified to provide more room than is currently available in the sedan.

Its seating configuration means that five adults can be seated in two consecutive rows, or you can have six to seven adults occupying all three rows. Its doors have taken the Falcon Wing design and normally take a total of 5 seconds to open and six seconds to close them.

Although its doors use smart sensors, there are instances when the doors may halt halfway even when nothing is obstructing them. But for many owners, this dump aspect of the Model X is probably the first thing that they show off to their friends. A Model X owner can expect to enjoy a ride that is firm, but comfortable, thanks to the leather covered supportive seats.

A closer look at its instrument panel and you quickly realize that the button's free installment has been borrowed from Model S. You can easily control all aspects of the car using the 17-inch screen mounted on the instrument panel.

Tesla is quickly becoming unstoppable. The Model 3 closely follows the Model X in the affordability matrix. However, Model 3 is expected to arrive sometime late next year. For those interested in Model X, they can expect to fork out at least $81,200 to get their hands on the cheapest model. The top spec P990D has been priced at $133,700 and is considered to be the most expensive of the model X configurations. Despite this considerable price tag, the Model X has no apparent competition, as there are no other electric SUVs in production.
