Nissan created its upscale Infiniti division in 1989 with two remarkable models. 20 years later and the Infiniti keeps on recreating the standards for elegance, luxury, and power. All forms of the Infiniti G37X are testament to this very statement. So, what exactly makes the Infiniti unique? Let’s break it down.
The all important question. 0-60 split? The G37 totes a mean 3.7-liter engine with 6 cylinders. This engine produces right around 330 horsepower with 270 pounds of torque. It’s comparable to the 370Z and comes with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission that’s designed to give the driving experience a sporty feel. There are some models out there that offer a 6-speed manual transmission, though they would take a little searching to find one. The Infiniti G37X sports coupe edition runs 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds flat. Pretty impressive for a curb weight of roughly 3,700 pounds depending on the bells and whistles installed.
While you're definitely not gonna win any quarter-mile drags in this car, this thing goes. It gets up to speed pretty quick, and handles better than most cars out there on the market. It offers all-wheel drive which gives it enhanced traction for the unfortunate souls driving in the rain or snow.
The four-door Infiniti is truly a smash hit, and a genuinely decent car, responding to driver commands quickly and swiftly. It seats four comfortably in all conditions, with simple in-out access and a lot of storage space in the trunk.
The looks, of both inside and out, would impress any car enthusiast. The general nature of the Infiniti cabin has expanded on its sense of luxury and style significantly. They could be admitted to the extravagance class of cars and tend to convey a contemporary outline, giving off a kind of “warmth.”
The two-door Infiniti G37 roadster looks racier than most cars. The interior, however, has been called cramped by some and any more significant than the average human probably won’t be too comfortable in the vehicle. The instruments are top notch, and atmosphere, sound and route frameworks are straightforward and controllable.
More often than not, the interior of the vehicle in question radiates warmth and friendliness. It’s not too overcrowded. There are a plethora of features available to make the experience be even more of a memorable one. The materials in the car are sleek and used in a good sense with the finish and trim. Some of the harder plastics do however have a bit of graining on them.
The leather seats have been cited to be very comfortable, with both heated and cooled seats being standard in almost all models. The driver’s seat is adjustable in eight different way, and even has an option of adjustable lumbar support. The sports package seats do have more adjustments available to the user.
So what’s our final opinion of the Infiniti? We’d say it’s overall a positive one. While by no means a race car, it bolsters an impressive engine that gets nearly 20 miles to the gallon in the city, which makes it an economically viable option for most middle-class families. This car is a win in our books.
