Do you want to earn a few bragging rights? It's simple. Simply test your Audi TTS accelerations time, of course, in a hands-free as well as fully automated way. What's more, post the TTS 0-60 time to your leaderboard.
The leaderboard will feature accuracy to the millisecond and display your position in comparison to other users in real time. Also, it'll save for you lots of acceleration times from various models.
If you want a fast Audi, then the Audi TT 0-60 is virtually unbeatable, although more on that in a short while. Oddly enough, the Audi TTS is not the most expensive car in the TT range, although it certainly looks like it. This means that with this TT, you are getting a whole lot of punch for not a lot of money.
Audi TTS 0-60 and Handling
Obviously, this is not the first vehicle in the TTS range. It is much improved upon previous models, though. For example; there is a lot more space to kick around in this car. Well, considering it is a coupe at least. The trunk space is more than enough to feel useful to a small family too.
Beneath the hood of the Audi TTS 0-60, you will find a 2.0-litre engine which boasts 310hp. This means that if you crank up the acceleration, you should be able to hit 62mp in about 4.6 seconds. Considering this is a car built for travel on the road as opposed to a race track, this is not too shabby. Despite the power over the quarter mile, you will also enjoy a whopping 38mpg which makes it surprisingly affordable to run.
When you drive the Audi TTS, it is a real dream. It gives a smooth, comfortable ride, and the included electronic systems which are designed to improve handling work incredibly well. It is certainly up there with being one of the smoothest Audis on the market.
Exterior & Interior
As mentioned previously; there is a surprising amount of space built into the Audi TTS. Although, it is a Coupe so you probably are not going to want to be packing a whole family into it for a longer trip, particularly if you are bringing a lot of luggage with you, but for those shorter trips you should be fine.
One thing that we love about this Audi TTS is that it includes a digital driver’s display. While many cars on the market now have a digital panel of some description, this was one of the first. Everything that you need to know about your car is packed onto that 12.3-inch display. This includes your speed, revs, a sat nav, and a lot more. One of the biggest positives to this is that you do not need an additional display in your car which makes everything seem a little bit less ‘cluttered’.
The trunk of the car has a surprising amount of space that you can use. While there are a couple of seats in the back, as with all coupes, they are not built for squeezing people in the long term. It is more if you want to show off how smooth your brand new car is to drive to friends and family, or maybe ferrying them from point A to point B. Kids may be fine sitting in it long term, but certainly not adults.
Conclusion
This is certainly not a sports car, so if you are looking for that then you will probably want to head elsewhere. This is a practical and good-looking coupe which is sure to turn heads. It is a massive improvement over anything Audi has produced before.
