Ford Mustang is a legendary coupe and the ancestor of the Pony Car class. Its creator is a well-known American manager of Ford Motor Company - Li Yakokka. The first generation was built on the basis of a sedan and the Ford Falcon left the conveyor in March, 9th 1964. Quitely from that moment the great history of the great car has begun, and it has been produced up to now. Besides the vehicle celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014. Furthermore, the Ford Mustang was recently updated for the sixth generation. Considering all this, the new generation would become not only modern, but also keep all its essence enclosed in a daring sporty design.

Yes indeed, the new Mustang looks like a Hollywood actor. From the technical point of view the Americans can let themselves a little bit more experimentaion. So, the Mustang has become 38 mm wider and 36 mm lower keeping the former wheelbase (2720 mm). The track of the back wheels, thus, increased by 70 mm. Definitely, this was done in order to improve the stability and the car driving. It is confirmed by a completely new suspension. Upfront Mustang has the McPherson suspension strut with a double hinge system and a less heavy, but more rigid subframe. It allowed to install more larger brake discs (320 mm) on the front axle, though they can optionally be inlarged up to 380-mm. The rear suspension now presents an independent aluminium multi-lever constructure.

The new Mustang is better driven. Now the car obeys you as much as you need. The car controlls the road very well, and the wheel is willing to return to the mid position. They have also improved the braking system, and now the brakes have become very angry. If you have driven the classic Mustangs before and tried a new model, you will understand how cool it is now. One of the three engines can be installed under the hood of the Ford Mustang. Two of them have been innovated, but they are familiar to the fans of the previous model generation. It is the 3.7-liter V6 with 304 h.p. of the power and 366 Nm of the torque, and also the 5-liter V8 with 426 "horses" and 529 Nm. But the third motor is an absolute innovation among the coupes. It is the 2.3-liter EcoBoost with the direct injection, the variable valve timing and the turbocharging. Such a machine gives the 309 h.p. of power and 407 Nm of torque. The 5-liter engine accelerates from zero to 60 in the 4.3 seconds. At the same time it is really scary to speed up on it. For really good acceleration points you will have to fight with the car, because it absolutely does not want to cling up to the road. It is not the BMW or the Audi, where you easily make a regular racing with from a full stop. Here you should try hard. But the in-line four-cylinder turbocharged engine accelerates in the 5.7 seconds. The most popular V6 makes 100 km \ hour point almost at the same time - 5.5 seconds.

This machine is a real devourer of the fuel and other cars with these engines on the track. But if you want to buy a Ford Mustang, which speeds up in the 5.7 seconds from 0 to 60, then ... what’s wrong with you ?! It's a Mustang! Take right V8! Ford Mustang is not just a car, it is like a toy which many people are dreaming of since childhood and only few fulfill this dream.
